The K2 is the toughest one day cycle challenge in the Southern Hemisphere. It is also one of the most scenic and varied as it circumnavigates The Coromandel.

About

Every year the event starts in a different town, Tairua in 2020, circumnavigating The Coromandel. The K2 is also one of the most scenic and varied races with the route traveling through sub tropical forest, pacific coastlines, rural farmland and the Pohutukawa coastline of the Hauraki Gulf.

There is a range of different options for all aspirations, with the full 200km solo race probably the toughest one-day road cycle race in the Southern hemisphere!
