Coromandel Discovery offers a range of tours that explore the quirky Coromandel township and the remote Northern Coromandel. Coromandel Coastal Walkway: Combining a coastal drive with self-guided walk. The walk itself is an easy 3-4 hour self-guided walk crossing farmland, weaving along ridges with coastal views and through native New Zealand bush finishing at picturesque Stony Bay. Coromandel Discovery Tour ex Auckland: A one-day trip combining a ferry journey with 360 Discovery from downtown Auckland. The tour explores the fascinating gold mining and pioneering history of Coromandel Town – which in the late 1800s threatened to rival Auckland as the largest metropolis!
