The Coromandel region has a reputation for its pioneering arts and crafts people and is home to a large number of talented artists. Many say it’s the unique environment or perhaps it is the exquisite scenery, which provides the inspiration to produce the works of art that flow from the minds and hands of the Hauraki Coromandel artists.
The Arts Coromandel website offers visitors to the site a snapshot of over one hundred working artists living in the Coromandel region, who invite you to visit their studios, come to exhibitions and events and to view their collections online. To find out more about each artist and their locations, visit www.artscoromandel.co.nz before your visit to the Coromandel.
