look out for crayfish, paua (abalone), oysters,
mussels and scallops.
Other dishes that are
distinctly New Zealand are kumara (sweet potato);
kiwifruit and tamarillo; and pavlova, made
from meringue and lashings of fresh whipped
cream topped with fresh fruit or berries.
