50+ artists welcome you to visit their studios in the first 2 weekends in March each year. The area encompasses Tairua, Hahei, Hot Water Beach, Cooks Beach, Whenuakite, Coroglen, Whitianga, Kuaotunu, Rings Beach and Opito Bay.
The annual artists open studios provide a unique opportunity to visit the artists in their creative environment, see new work and gives you the chance to purchase directly from the artist.
The artists, including 2 art groups and 7 new members all bring a rich and eclectic mix of arts, including potters, sculptors, painters, printmakers, photographers, flax weavers, woodworkers, mosaic artists, jewellers, a glass artist and a furniture maker.
