Nestled in the stunning Karangahake Gorge (between Waihi & Paeroa) along the Hauraki Rail Trail and with Owharoa Falls on our doorstep, The Falls Retreat is a place to reconnect with food, nature and each other.

We offer a range of unique dining experiences with award winning food using local suppliers and produce from our on-site organic veggie gardens, 3 x charming cottages available for nightly rent and a range of cooking and gardening workshops. 

We believe in making everything from scratch including our own pasta and sourdough breads, homegrown pickles and doing our own smoking and curing. Sustainability is at the heart of our business.
