Water from the stream is available at Totara Flat Campsite. Remember to boil all water from a stream before drinking.

Location
Follow the Kauaeranga Valley Road from Thames for 14km to the Visitor Centre. Totara Flat is 7.5km north of the Visitor Centre. Second campground on right past Visitor Centre.
